Subprocessors

Last updated June 1, 2026

Because everything in Chimes is an adapter, you control most of your own providers. This page lists the subprocessors the managed cloud service may use. Self-hosting lets you reduce or eliminate this list.

Infrastructure

Cloud infrastructure and managed databases used to operate the multi-tenant Chimes Cloud service, within the regions you select.

Model providers

The LLM and voice providers you configure as adapters (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Telnyx, or Twilio). You choose these — and can swap or self-host them at any time.

Operational tooling

Error monitoring, product analytics, and transactional email used strictly to operate and support the service. These never receive your customers' conversation contents beyond what's necessary and redacted.

Updates

We maintain this list as our subprocessors change and provide notice of material additions in line with your DPA.
